Creating 'Tomorrow's memoir': The pre-production process for Tomorrow's Memoir began in February 2002. Producers KULCHERA MATSON and JIM CLIFFE initiated the scheduling, research, networking, and scouting throughout the spring. In the early summer of 2002, the pair started adding to their team. Friend and associate, KYLE POIRIER agreed to accept the challenge of Production Manager. Kyle was chosen for the job on account of his sharp organizational and interpersonal skills. Having worked with Kyle on many previous projects, Jim and Kulchera took comfort in the fact they knew that, together, the three made a well-balanced and dynamic team.

MARGERY BEDFORD joined the team for her first major role in a film production. As Associate Producer, Margery often played the hero. Projecting a wonderfully professional and graceful face of the production, Margery showed outstanding talent for solving problems, tackling challenges, and dealing with a huge amount of work stress with incredible savvy and irresistible charm.

RAYMOND BAILEY was brought on as 1st Assistant Director. As a university instructor, Ray was the ideal choice to be in charge of inspiring a team and setting a fine example of professionalism. Ray came up with the very clever idea of implementing his animation program into the project. As grips and PA's, Ray's OUC class, (from Vernon), were exceptional members of the crew - displaying impeccable work ethics and integrity during the entire shoot. The position of 2nd Assistant Director was handled beautifully by ADEJA CHRISARA. Having recently finished her Masters' Thesis on Canadian Women Filmmakers, Adeja brought to the team a wealth of knowledge and constant encouragement. As an actress herself, Adeja did an absolutely amazing job with the 80+ cast members. A truly appreciated quality in Adeja's role was her positive attitude. Adeja's sunny disposition often lifted the stress from the entire team.

Getting the show 'in the can' took a total of eight months. The first six months were dedicated to pre-production planning. The last two months were dedicated to production - resulting in eleven days of shooting. The completion of shooting 'Tomorrow's Memoir' proved to be an incredible feat. Spanning 18 locations throughout the city of Kelowna, and Vancouver, 25 crew and 80+ cast worked together to create breathtaking scenes from 1920, 1940, 1960, 1980, and modern day. The final outcome of this undertaking was truly epic in its design and in its success.
